Martin Kaymer got Scottish open title after French Open win

MARTIN Kaymer made it a twice festivity at Loch Lomond on Sunday by taking the Scottish Open title after a sparkling weekend’s golf.

The German got the £500,000 prize with a score of 15 under par, having won the French Open only eight days ago.

He was the first player since Ian Woosnam in 1990 to win the two PGA tour events right away preceding to the Open Championship

Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin and Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez Castano joint second place, both two shots off the lead.

Englishman Lee Westwood was the highest British player, with a score of 10 under par, the same score managed by Ross Fisher.

Thousands of golf fans took benefit of the magnificent weather situation to enjoy an enjoyable tournament, televised live.
