French Open's future decided next month

To host the French Open beginning in 2016, reviews of bid has been completed by the French tennis federation.

The clay-court Grand Slam from Roland Garros reallocation was considered because it needed more space to remain competitive with the three other majors.

Ahead of next month's general assembly, when the federation will make its decision,Federation officials where given a presentation of the Versailles bid on Saturday.

Three other places are being considered, including first which would see the tournament staying in an expanded Roland Garros venue. The two other bidders are the towns of Gonesse and Marne-la-Vallee, near Disneyland Paris.
